1. Introduction
Welcome to qaera. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the qaera website, platform, and all related services (collectively, the "Services") operated by qaera, based in Serdivan, Sakarya, Turkey. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Services.
2. Service Description
qaera is a premium online language learning platform offering live Arabic and English language instruction through one-on-one private lessons, group classes, and corporate training programmes. Lessons are conducted via video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) by qualified, vetted teachers.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and purchase services. Persons under 18 may use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms on the minor's behalf.
4. Payment Terms
All prices are displayed in AUD and TRY (and USD where applicable). Payment is due at the time of booking or package purchase. We accept payments via Stripe and PayTR. Prices may be updated from time to time; any price changes will not affect already-purchased packages.
- 1-on-1 Private Lesson (45 min): $55 AUD / 1,502 TRY
- Group Class: $29 AUD / 792 TRY per session
- 3-Month Package: $249 AUD / 6,798 TRY per month

Bundle discounts are available: 10% off a 4-session bundle and 15% off an 8-session bundle. Instalment payment options may be arranged on request.
5. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both students and teachers:
- Cancellations made 24 or more hours before the scheduled lesson: No charge. The session is returned to your balance.
- Cancellations made within 3 hours of the lesson: A 30% late-cancellation fee applies.
- Cancellations made within 1 hour of the lesson, or no-shows: The full lesson fee is charged.
Teachers who need to cancel will provide at least 24 hours' notice where possible, and a make-up lesson will be arranged at no extra cost.
6. Refund Policy
Refund requests for unused portions of a package must be made within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, refunds will be provided as credit toward future lessons. For free trial lessons, no payment is required and no refund applies. Refunds are processed within 10 business days using the original payment method.
7. Student Conduct
Students are expected to:
- Attend scheduled lessons punctually and be prepared for class.
- Treat teachers and fellow students with respect and courtesy.
- Not record, distribute, or reproduce lesson content without written permission.
- Ensure a stable internet connection and functioning audio/video equipment for lessons.
- Refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour.
qaera reserves the right to suspend or terminate service to any student who violates these conduct standards, without refund.
8. Teacher Conduct
All qaera teachers are vetted, qualified professionals who are required to:
- Deliver lessons in a professional, prepared, and punctual manner.
- Provide constructive feedback, homework, and progress assessments.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and performance.
- Adhere to the qaera curriculum standards and teaching methodology.

9. Intellectual Property
All content provided through the Services — including lesson materials, worksheets, curricula, website content, branding, and software — is the intellectual property of qaera or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any qaera content without our prior written consent. Student-created work (e.g., homework) remains the property of the student.
10. Data Protection (KVKK)
qaera processes personal data in compliance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698). We collect and process only the personal data necessary to deliver our Services, and we do so with your explicit consent. 11. Limitation of Liability
qaera provides its Services on an "as is" basis. While we strive for the highest quality of instruction and service delivery, we do not guarantee specific learning outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, qaera shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Services in the 3 months preceding the claim.
12. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of our Services shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of Sakarya, Turkey. For international users, we encourage mediation as a first step before formal proceedings.
13. Modifications
qaera reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
